For the first time in the history of the Freedom Index, the United States has fallen out of the Top Ten to #12. We are now less free than the historical bastions of freedom known as Estonia and Chile. To make it slightly worse, the future indicator forecast for the United States is continued loss of freedom.
Someone please tell me why anyone still comes here. We’re yesterday’s news. Statue of Liberty Shmiberty. We should gift it to Chile. How do you say, “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses…” in Chile?
Of course this should be no surprise to anyone, I am sure, except Obama voters. Any bets what year we fall out of the Top 20?
