Even Christmas is not safe from politicians trying to push their agenda to socialize this country.
As the famous economist Thomas Sowell noted in one of his books, politicians like to manipulate the language to serve their purposes. What we used to call swamps are now called wetlands to be “preserved”, and what were once bums or hobos are now called the “homeless.”
In fact, have you ever heard of a homeless person committing a crime? And yet it must happen, right? It can’t be impossible. You don’t hear about it because when they do commit a crime they are referred to as “transients” and not “homeless.”
Al Gore and Hillary Clinton have both referred to the birth of Jesus Christ as the birth of a “homeless child” and Gore called Mary a “homess woman.”
<sigh>. They make it too easy.
Joseph and Mary were not homeless. They had to leave their home to travel to Bethlehem to pay taxes. The only reason Jesus was born in a barn and not a house was because politicians like Gore and Clinton were forcing everyone to travel to their hometown to pay taxes, which is also why the Inn was full.
“Speaking from my own religious tradition in this Christmas season, 2,000 years ago a homeless woman gave birth to a homeless child in a manger because the inn was full.” -Al Gore, 1997.
A few years later, Hillary Clinton added that Christmas was the day Christians celebrated “the birth of a homeless child.”
