I’m at a loss for words at the rampant incompetence in our government…it’s just; striking…
The head of the Department of Justice and the head of the Department of Homeland Security are blasting their hate of Arizona’s anti-illegal immigration law all over the media and the DOJ is questioning its Constitutionality…but both admit they haven’t actually read it.
It’s a total of 18 pages. UNBELIEVABLE!

The DOJ, which is part of the Executive Branch of our federal government, is responsible for the enforcement of the law and the administration of justice. The United States Attorney General, Eric Holder, is the chief law enforcement officer of the United States and the head of the DOJ. In other words, Eric Holder is the Top Cop in the land.
This weekend Mr. Holder told NBC’s “Meet the Press” program that the Arizona law “has the possibility of leading to racial profiling.” He had earlier called the law’s passage “unfortunate,” and questioned whether the law was unconstitutional because it tried to assume powers that may be reserved for the federal government. ~The Washington Times
Please watch this embarrassing spectacle of top federal officials condemning a piece of legislation all over the news without ever having read it. What a disgrace.
First, Eric Holder, head of the Department of Justice condemning the law on May 11th as “divisive” and then two days later saying, “I haven’t read it”
Next, Janet Napolitano, head of the Department of Homeland Security…saying the law is, “not a good law” and then a week later admitting she hasn’t read it…
These two individuals have the power and the position to abuse their authority in order to force their personal beliefs onto the rest of us. Rather than read this 18 page law first, they simply lashed out with their personal opinions using the media as their weapon. They were ready to use their positions of authority to force a state to overturn a decision that its people, and most others actually support.
This is a classic example of absolute power corrupting absolutely. They’ve decided they don’t need to read laws anymore to pass judgment on them. This is very dangerous for the rest of us, and there are many of them in our government.
