I was just looking something up when I noted the following article posted just minutes ago on a link to NBC News from the MSNBC website, click here for the article.
This 15 year old girl was shot in Chicago, one of the cities with the most stringent gun controls in the world. Some thug was aiming for someone else, and shot her by accident. No surprise there.
What is also not a surprise, and only pointed out by a commenter on the website was that the tags on the bottom of the article only include the following; shooting, chicago, gun-control, inauguration, hadiya-pendleton.
The last one is the girls name and the rest seem relevant but one. Did you notice the odd man out? Gun-control. NBC did not tag this article with second amendment or gun rights…but only with GUN CONTROL.
And that is because gun control is the purpose of this article. NBC reporters are not even smart enough to pretend they believe in gun rights by tagging the article as such. Any article that involves someone being shot with a gun is immediately used to support gun control. Meanwhile, as we all know, the thousands of times guns are used to save people, those articles never make it into the national news.
