The Obama administration may cut federal education, housing, and transportation aid to North Carolina in response.”

This is how tyranny is forced upon you.

The reason the Federal Government was given explicit and limited powers by the Constitution is because of what you see above. The Government was never meant to be involved in Education, Housing and Transportation, but it is, unconstitutionally, and now you see why.

With a printing press that the States don’t have access to, the Government can rain money down on the States letting them weave together the rope they’ll hang themselves with when the States don’t want to do what the Government wants them to do.

And since Americans don’t care about their children and their children’s children having to pay off all that debt the Federal Reserve prints, or the inflation it creates – the Government can basically buy off any State and the ignorant apathetic Americans in it.

Remember Common Core? The Feds offered the States additional money for education if they agreed to implement Common Core – sight unseen. A majority of States agreed to that, and now Common Core is hated and loathed but what can they do? They cashed the check – how can they go back now without returning the money they already spent?

And of course the Unions see all that extra cash coming in, they want a piece of that action, so they adjust their contract negotiating accordingly. The State can’t say, “We simply don’t have the money” because the Union will say, “Just take it from that Common Core cash D.C. gave you.”

Then when Obamacare came out, the Feds offered the States more money for their Medicare and Medicaid programs – IF – they created a State exchange.

This is how the tyranny of a Federal Government works. They pay off the States to implement and enforce policies the Federal Government wants. The Feds KNOW the States have sovereignty. That any State can simply say, “Nah…we’re not going to do what you ask” and that is why the Feds play to the greed of the people, and the power of the Unions, and simply throw money at the States, making them “an offer they can’t refuse” – literally.

Federal tyranny over State sovereignty.

You don’t do what they say, Feds throw a tantrum and stop cutting checks. That simple.
