In a previous post I mentioned that Ron Paul just won the California Straw Poll. Was it covered by the major news outlets?
Nope. Not a word. They completely ignored it.
Prior to the California Straw Poll was the Iowa straw poll where Michelle Bachmann won first place with Ron Paul coming in second just less than 1% away from Bachmann. As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Iowa Straw Poll was widely reported on by the media but only on Bachmann, nobody mentioned that Ron Paul came in second.
The Texas Straw Poll was up next but was just cancelled. Why? Because the Republicans in Texas realized that Ron Paul was most likely going to win in his own state and the Republicans don’t want him to get any news coverage. They assumed that while it was possible for the media to ignore his win in California, it would be impossible for the media to ignore his second win in a row and a win in his own state.
Lastly, the Republicans have their own political puppet from Texas, Rick Perry. If he lost, it would look bad for the Republican political machine. Due to this, the Republicans cancelled the Texas Straw Poll and blamed it on lack of interest. That is a lie.
This is why I hate the Republicans as much as I hate the Democrats. In the end, they are just sleazy politicians looking out for themselves. They don’t want anyone to actually fix anything, they just want business as usual. No rocking the boat.
Ron Paul will tip the boat over and drive it to the bottom. Neither the Republicans or the Democrats want that.
But We the People…must demand it.
