Obama voters interviewed in 2008 confirmed they support Obama based on his ideas…except the ideas they were asked if they supported, were McCain’s.

I know many Obama voters from 2008, and they’re not stupid. The problem is that they voted, or will vote for him, for the wrong reasons.

If an Obama voter told me they support collectivism, Statism and redistribution of wealth and that Government should assume control of whatever aspects of our lives they deem necessary to keep us safe, then I would consider them knowledgeable about Obama and simply someone who prefers a move towards Socialism and rejects Capitalism.

It’s the voter that thinks Obama is just your average President in a long line of average Presidents and nobody could have done better or worse and then votes for him on a single issue, or how well he speaks, or that he’s not Republican or that he’s black, that scares me.

Make no mistake. Obama rejects Capitalism, completely. If he were given the authority, he would absolutely nationalize certain industries like oil. He would look favorably on Socialist Francois Hollande’s 75% tax on the wealthy and impose similar Draconian and destructive tax measures in the U.S. even though he has admitteed, on video, that raising taxes hurts the economy but he would do it anyway, “because it’s fair” – his own words.

Obama is not an average President, he is a President that has completely adopted the collectivist argument and has only been limited in pursuing his agenda by the tattered remains of our Constitutional checks and balances.
