As many articles have already accomplished, let me add my voice to the chorus of asking all those celebrities to follow through on their promise to leave the country, and the earth in some cases, if Trump won.
I recall, when Obama was running in 2008, that some said they would leave the country if Obama won. In fact there are legions of both Democrats and Republicans who have claimed to leave someplace for someplace else if someone won, or something.
Obviously, these people are just idiots and we can accept them for what they are. What troubles me more than a Psychrolutes microporos shooting off at the mouth, is how they would have cashed in on that hyperbole had their threat been neutralized. For example, nobody is going to convince me, that had Hillary won, those same imbeciles who had promised to leave if Trump won, would not be on The Daily Show and The View yukking it up into the camera about how they ‘missed that bullet’ and no matter how much they love Canada, they really didn’t have enough jackets to move there anyway. They would have cashed in on that gamble, no doubt at all.
Instead, they now spend their time now backpedaling, saying it was just a joke, and even attacking the people who are calling them out on their gamble accusing them of not being able to take a joke, too stupid to understand they were just kidding, etc… even though they KNOW they would have cashed in on that gamble if it had went their way. To a liberal, this kind of gamble is tails they win, heads you lose.
